Gift Cards add funds to your Wallet, while vouchers are a separate payment method altogether. These funds do not get applied to your Uber Wallet. The Vouchers always get used first as a payment method. If you apply a voucher, this will get used by default, rather than other payment methods you have enabled. The Vouchers are only supported on Mobile at the moment. The desktop mode currently doesn't support vouchers. This should be done on mobile. It can be done on a computer if you are already logged into your account, although the balance may not be viewable until you check on mobile.
Redemption Instructions
1. Go to the Payment section in the Uber app
2. Tap Add Payment Method and select Gift Voucher
3. Enter Gift Code
Terms of use
1. You must have an active and valid Uber account to redeem the voucher, and vouchers may not be transferred between Uber accounts. Must note that only One voucher per denomination can be applied for on the same account account. Applying the second voucher of the same denomination will show as Invalid and must be applied on another account. Limits may apply to your redemption of or spend using the voucher. This voucher is redeemable via the Uber app where Uber is available. The expiry of the specific voucher will be provided along with the code.
2. Note: As per Uber’s policy, Codes that belong to the same campaign cannot be redeemed under a single account. Each code needs to be redeemed separately using different accounts.

How to redeem
To redeem your gift card, here's what you need to do:
1. If you're new to Uber, download the Uber or Uber Eats app.
2. Install the Uber app and the Uber Eats app.
3. Open the Account menu in the app and select Wallet.
4. Tap on the Uber Cash card and then on the + Add Funds button.
5. Choose the Gift card option from the list.
6. Enter the gift code provided and tap Add to redeem your gift card.
Terms & Policy
Gift cards that have been redeemed are only valid in countries that accept payment in the same currency as the one in which they were issued. Gift card balances cannot be used for Family Profiles, scheduled rides, or university campus card rides. Additionally, there are other significant restrictions on the use of Uber gift cards.
